Data Deletion Request
Last updated: 8 October 2026
You can request deletion of your NexWall app account or NexWall Developer API account and the related personal data at any time. Requests are handled by KodNex Technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.
1. Self-Service Deletion (In App)
If the feature is visible in your current app version, go to Profile/Account settings and choose the account deletion option. This is the fastest way to remove account-linked data. You can also delete one or all of your uploaded personal photos from the auto wallpaper changer screen at any time.
2. What Can Be Deleted
- Account profile data (name/email/avatar linked to your NexWall account).
- Favorites, reactions and account-linked preferences stored on our servers.
- Personal photos you uploaded for the auto wallpaper changer.
- Developer API account data: profile, API keys and usage data.
- Support data you directly shared with us.
- Other personal data we control, unless retention is required by law or security obligations.
3. How to Submit an Email Request
- Email: support@kodnextech.com
- Subject line: "NexWall Data Deletion Request"
- Include your account email, and your app version or "Developer API account", to help us identify records accurately.
4. Verification
To protect privacy, we may perform limited verification before processing deletion, so unauthorized requests are not accepted.
5. Processing Timeline
- Acknowledgement: usually within 72 business hours.
- Completion: generally within 30 days, subject to legal or technical constraints.
- If extra time is needed, we will inform you with an updated timeline.
6. Important Notes
- Some records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance. For example, payment and invoice records for paid Developer API plans are kept as Indian tax and accounting laws require. API request logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Third-party provider data (for example ad network or analytics provider records) may need separate requests to those providers as per their own policies.
- After deletion, certain app experiences may reset or become unavailable.
7. Data That May Remain on Your Device
- Downloaded wallpapers and cached images saved locally on your phone.
- Notification history already delivered to your device.
- Local app preferences unless you clear app data or uninstall the app.
